Xbox 360 getting official 3D update - rep

Microsoft is to release a 3D-related Xbox 360 update "most likely via Xbox Live in the coming days". That's according to a report on msxbox-world.com, which says the update will arrive shortly ahead of the release of a host of new 3D capable games including Gears of War 3, Batman: Arkham City and Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary.The site's carrying a picture of an option on the Xbox 360 dashboard which reads: "Enable 3D to use stereoscopic 3D in games and experiences that support it." Could the word "experiences" hint at wider 3D support for media services like Sky and rmtNix?The update is also said to introduce a setting which will detect TV size or allow users to input the size manually.
