Black Ops 'Rezurrection' DLC detailed, da

Following Activision's announcement earlier today, Activision has released a shed load of details on the 'Rezurrection' map pack coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops this month. Unlike the previous CoD DLC releases, Rezurrection will be an entirely Zombies affair, adding five new Zombies maps to the undead shooting portion of the game. "Four are remastered and upgraded versions of the World at War Zombies maps that started it all - Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa and Der Riese," revealed Activision. "If you were introduced to Zombies gameplay with Black Ops, these are the historical maps that will fill in some of the backstory for you - and in addition to updated weapons and polish, they each still have their own surprises to offer." A fifth map takes the zombie action to the 'Moon', where "the rules ofrmt gement will apparently be changing", according to the publisher, which says further details on that are a "surprise".There's more: "Rezurrection will include a special Moon Xbox 360 Dashboard theme and the official Zombies soundtrack, featuring three new tracks." Sweet. The all-important release date: It'll arrive first on Xbox Live Marketplace (of course) on August 23 for 1200 MS Points. No date has been announced for the other platforms. Activision has also confirmed that 'Rezurrection' will be free to Black Ops Hardened and Prestige owners, "as a thank-you to the hardcore fans for their support from the start. You'll be able to go into your Download History and re-download the classic pack you already own, and the fresh download will include the new Moon map. And you'll also get the soundtrack and theme, too."First screenshots of the new Moon level are on this page. Mike Jackson

Lawsuit Says Sony Laid Off Security Worke

A new lawsuit alleges that Sony fired workers in its network security operations two weeks before a cyberattack brought down the PlayStation Network.Additionally, the suit charges that Sony paid millions to secure sensitive information online—its own corporate secrets. Customer data didn't receive the same level of treatment, says the suit, brought by PSN customers, who seek class action status for their complaint.PlayStation Network was entirely dark for 23 days, from late April to early May, following a crippling cyber attack that exposed millions of customers' private information to hackers. Credit card information is believed to be among the data lost, though that hasn't been confirmed. Sony has offered its account holders free identity theft protection, among other considerations for returning customers. This complaint, filed in federal court in San Diego on Monday, says Sony dismissed "a substantial percentage" of the Sony Online Entertainment workforce, including many from its network operations. The suit cites a confidential witness as the source of that information. The suit says Sony should have known it was it increased risk of attack because it had experienced smaller breaches in the run-up to the April 20 outage. In late April, Sony laid off 205 SOE employees, calling it "a strategic decision to reduce costs and streamline its global workforce." SOE's Denver, Seattle and Tucson offices were closed as a result. No mention was made of network operations in the company's statement at the time.Kotaku has contacted Sony Computer Entertainment America for a response. The case is Cotormtr et al v. Ronaldo overtakes Messi as PES 2012 box s

Move over Messi: Cristiano Ronaldo is centre stage on the PES 2012 cover this year, with Konami claiming the Real Madrid star "personifies the many advances the game offers."The cover art, which you can see in PS3 and Xbox 360 flavours on this page, shows old winky in an image that Konami says embodies the changes and options in this year's instalment: "total control both on and off the ball."Konami explains: "PES 2012 gives the user more control than any other football title, with all-new AI elements and off-the-ball control creating a game where the user can move players into dangerous areas during set pieces, or control second player to create space or make runs using the new Teammate Cormtn system. "Similarly, at the heart of PES 2012 is the Active AI system where players will drop into space, draw defenders out of position, and make diagonal runs as in real matches. "This creates a game that flows and moves just like a top-level game, and also create the defence-splitting passes and glorious attacks that has elevated Cristiano Ronaldo to the top of his game."Ronaldo himself said of the cover art: "I am flattered that Konami has chosen me to be the face of PES 2012, and by their reasoning behind the cover image."PES 2012 to me is the perfect recreation of football, and truly highlights the way teams work together to create attacks, make space and break down defences. "I think anyone that plays it will get a better understanding of the mechanics of football and how players work together. It is never about one player, it is about the team - and PES 2012 demonstrates that better than any other game."Set for release on October 14 on PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii, PSP and PS2, Konami says PES 2012's focus is on "the instinctive way the game can be played and on teamwork in particular".Hit the link for a tonne of PES 2012 gameplay footage. Wow, so, a Ton of People are Suing Sony

While Sony's "Welcome Back" package smoothed over most people's concerns following the PlayStation network attacks in April and May, not everyone is won over. Some are taking Sony to court. And when I say some, I mean many. The PS3 manufacturer is currently battling a total of 55 class action lawsuits as a result of the PSN security breach, which exposed the personal details of tens of millions of customers. While many of those are simply from disgruntled individual ownrmteor groups of owners), there is an additional suit from a major insurance company, Zurich American, which is telling courts it shouldn't have to pay Sony to help it cover the costs of said suits. It reckons Sony's insurance with the company only covers it against physical damage and injury to its employees, not the kind of cyberattack which was responsible fro the PlayStation Network being brought down for weeks. This could be a big deal for Sony, which says the total cost of the attacks could run to almost $200 million.Sony insurer sues to deny data breach coverage [Reuters]

Limited Zelda Skyward Sword bundle has g

Nintendo has revealed a limited edition Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword bundle that will pack the game with a sweet-looking Zelda-themed gold Wii Remote Plus. The remote has a shiny gormtldy, gold d-pad and 'A' buttons and the Zelda royal crest printed over the speaker area of the remote. Well, this is the first review i'm writing. i decided to do this because i know the guy that made this, so it might kind of non professional.Graphics: The game is text based so no real graphics, but dacauz (the creator of the game) has some cool little gifs on it, and i've heard that a map might be added. graphics= 1/10Gameplay: Surprisingly fun for a text based game. It incudes chat, towns, battlefields anrmtde. Gameplay= 8/10Community: The community is nice, and very newbie friendly. The game however, used to be filled with hackers, but they have died down. Comminty= 7/10Sound: There is no sound on this game, other than the clicking of the mouse. Sound= 0/10Overall: A great fun game. Good for just sitting down and playing for a few minutes, or staring at your computer for hours until your brain rots. Overall= 9/10

Nintendo boss takes 3DS sales blame, 50%

Nintendo president and CEO Satoru Iwata is to take a 50 percent pay cut after claiming the that the blame for poor early 3DS sales lies at his door. Addressing shareholders in Tokyo today, Iwata said (via Nikkei): "I feel heavily responsible for this kind of announcement we had to make."For cuts in fixed salaries, I'm taking a 50 percent cut, other representative directors are taking a 30 percent cut, and other execs are taking a 20 percent cut," he addedrmt, ording to Kotaku.Iwata is said to earn roughly $2 million a year and design lead Shigeru Miyamoto $1.2 million. The decision to slash the price of the 3DS less than six months into its lifetime wasn't part of Nintendo's original strategy, but Iwata said it would help retailers plan for the end-of-year sales period and encourage developers to stick with the platform. The company will now make a loss on every 3DS sold.Iwata also reiterated that Nintendo doesn't intend to sell its games on non-Nintendo platforms.

Ikariam Review Let the Gods Decide

The special resources includes, wine, marble, crystal and sulfur. Each resource has its own specific use in your land. Wine is needed to make your people happy and make them more productive, marble is used for creating structures, while crystal is primarily needed for research and sulfur is basically needed for creation of units.。 Ikariam hosts a number of units that are similar to other genres but there are quite a few units that are unique to Ikariam. First and foremost, Ikariam has both air and naval units. Unlike in most games where the units are all land-based, in Ikariam you can research and manufacture units such as the Gyrocopter, while also being able to create ships like the Mortar ship, Catapult ship and the Ram ship to name a few.。 By Vincent Haoson。 Another war feature of Ikariam is being able to blockade the supplies of an enemy town using your fleet. As long as the enemy is in a blockade whatever passes their borders will either be plundered or damaged by the ships.。 The amount of units you can manufacture increases the challenge on how to create suitable defenses that can stoprmt of these specialized units.。 In a nutshell, Ikariam is a browser game that needs requires players to have a lot of skill in managing resources on the beginning. The micromanagement of resources may or may not encourage you to play the game. It all depends on your preferred style of playing, though in the end that would eventually make you decide if you’d stick with this or move on to other browser games.。
As an addition to the uniqueness of Ikariam, the game also has wonders that work as an added bonus for those who are under their care.。 Ikariam introduces a different gameplay that encourages players to think outside of the box. The unique units make Ikariam more interesting to play.。 The amount of micromanaging in Ikariam is both its strength and weakness. As some players wouldn’t want too much micromanaging to happen while others love the fact that you are given free rein on the details your town will have.。 The bonuses vary from, adding an increase to your town’s defense to discount and faster manufacture of ships and even an added increase in mining capabilities of certain resources to your workers.。 Another thing that’s unique in Ikariam is the ease players can create their colonies on other islands. Unlike in some games where creating a colony takes lots of resources, Ikariam allows players to create colonies at minimal resources, though of course the drawback of this is that the larger the number of colonies you harmtvhe corruption rate per colony also increases, thus encouraging players to think carefully before setting up a colony elsewhere.。 What I liked about the game is that the “specialty” and wood resource of your island is upgradable by those who are in it. This would entail inhabitants to work together for the common good, even if it is self-serving. This kind of setup encourages players to actually communicate and have talks with their fellow neighbors giving a boost to the community-creating spectrum of the game.。
As you start your rule in Ikariam, you are given one town as your base of operations. This town is among the 16 villages that are found on the islyou belong to. You have the capacity to rename your town to something that suits your taste.。 The wonders are as follows, Hephaistos Forge, Temple of Gaia, Garden of Dionysuis, Temple of Athena, Temple of Hermes, Temple of Posiedon and Colossus.。 It is quite possible that the developers wanted things like this so that players can have the freedom of exploring the game in their own pace and in their own time without having the mentality that they are being forced to follow some preset course the developers want them to take.。
Ikariam is one of those browser games where any action done by you is tied to how much resources you have. Unlike in other browser games of the same genre where a your actions are restricted to how many action points you have, in Ikariam, you’d need to actually count if your resources are able to cope with the actions you are doing. May it be constructing a build to warfare and even just plain day-to-day activities in your town are dictated by the amount of resources you can manufacture.。
Pros
- Players are welcomed by easy-on-the-eye sprites
- Gods system makes the gameplay interesting
- Making colonies do not require huge amounts of resources

Cons
- The game’s tutorial menu doesn’t appear he beginning leaving you to figure things out on the start
- A big aspect of the resources upgrades is based on a island’s intance, the problem would be if you are the only one on the island
- Going to war requires a ton of resources。 Every island in Ikariam has two resources. The first one would be lumber. This is the default resource in every island in Ikariam. Lumber would serve as your most important resource as you begin the game. The other resource is the “special” resource that varies depending on the island that you belong to.。 Ikariam is a browser based game from Gameforge. The game revolves around you ruling over a town in one of the numerous islands that are found in the Mediterranean Sea. Your goal is to make yourself the most prosperous among its inhabits through warfare or trade.。 Every island in Ikariam has a wonder that benefits everyone who is in the same island. The wonders are named after certain gods and that each wonder gives a specific bonus that would help out your town to prosper.。 The one thing that Ikariam lacks is a tutorial that pops out immediately after you enter or have your own town to fully explain how things work out in the game. Unlike in other browser games where you are greeted by a clickable tutorial/quest NPC, in Ikariam you’d need to click the tutorial link that is found in the upper left hand corner of the page.。 As you continue on playing the game you’d learn eventually how to get a hold of everything. When that time comes, you can then maximize your wonder and of whatever resource that you have on hand. It all depends on your cunning and on your strategy.。 This is the most challenging aspect of the game. Though the question now is that if you are up to that challenge? Being able to balance the amount of resource you have to the expenses will be your primary responsibility. However, you would also have to pay attention to the happiness of youtizens or they’ll become unproductive and even cause you to lose those preciously needed gold.

A reshuffle of EA's management has seen former EA Sports boss Peter Moore promoted, and Mass Effect developer BioWare elevated to one of the company's four publishing labels. The depth of talent and leadership in this company is inspiring. "Second, as I look across EA and back on its history, I come to an important realization. DOMO Review

by Chris Scarbrough, Onrpg writer

Dream Of Mirror is a free to play MMO that takes place in a world alternate to our own. Developed by Softstar, leading brand of Chinese video games industry. The game takes place in trmthternate reality known to be inside of the “Kunlun Mirror.” Exceeding numbers over the 400,000 mark in Taiwan alone, I decided to see exactly why this game is so popular.

Storyline
The main storyline is quite good from the very start. While unique, it manages to still maintain the usual RPG storyline feel that we all know and love. You'll start of in a beginner area with no idea what's going on. The beginner areas offer things such as beginner quests, whermtrsic things will be explained. From here, you can level up a little to support yourself in the upcoming adventures.

You'll learn all about the main storyline from the twelve Mirror Kings, rulers of the world in which DOMO takes place. While not physically able to help, they will often guide you often through the main storyline along with the help of other key NPCs. Once you've completed the beginning quests of the game, then storyline will begin to take off. You'll be given the option of pursuing freedom and peace between humans and monsters, or to uphold the law in all it's glory. Depending on what path you take, certain things throughout the game will change. Giving this game a wide array of possibilities when it comes to storyline options.

Sadly, the storyline can be a little confusing at t, and the directions on what to do extremely unclear. That's the only bad part about it.

Gameplay
Conside that the game itself requires one to have -a lot- of friends to enjoy, you'll need to actively be social and be out and about trying to find yourself a guild and buddies to do things with after about level 25. If you're not a social person, chances are DOMO is not for you.

In most MMO that are quest oriented the game will quickly wear your will to play down by repeatedly sending you out of your way to do things that really aren't very relevant to anything in the main storyline itself, much less assist you in building a bond with the characters involved to make you interested. In DOMO, many of the quests available attempt to tell a story about the people ined, regardless of how silly or senseless the story may be.

That having been said, the game as a whole doesn't revolve very well around the main storyline. I found myself in many situations where I questioned if what I was doing was rent to anything or if was just something placed there to waste time.

For progression, it's basically do quests and level up enough so you don't die miserably whilst trying to do something. As far as actually completing the quests goes's your typical deliver X item to John Doe, or take a bunch of your buddies, go out and kill a monster and return to X with its drops.
Combat is boring and shallow because it consists of clicking the monster and havat it with whatever weapon you have equipped. There’s not really much depth to it.

Customization
DOMO uses a system where leveling up nets yoints to use to power up your characters. Once your character is created, the possibilities are endless. Leveling up will net you 3 Stat Points that you can use to power yourself up, and 3 Skill Points that you can use to raise your Job Abilities.

Aside from powering up, theres a Job system, after a certain level, you can choose from onethirteen professions. Since you can and probably will choose all professions in the end, the amount of customization available for your character is enormous. Always a plus.

On top of ALL that, there’s a relationship system that can give you special abilities and attacks. I wouldn't go preteg to like someone just for an ability or attack, though.

Sadly, whatever race you end icking, it's a purely cosmetic choice. No matter what you pick, your stats, skills and class choices will be the same.

Interface
I felis was one of the more simplistic areas of the game. Sticking to the usage of hot keys or macros to use your frequently cast spells, commands and items.

Seeing as your Hot Keys only support F1-12, you'll find yourself in a situation w you simply can't put all of your necessities at the press of a button eventually.

The menus are located at the bottom left side of the screen, you can hide them or choose to display them for quick access when you might need to change one of your hot key macon the fly.
The ca itself is the only -big- problem I had with this game. Due to a camera that doesn't like to move with the characters themselves, and having to use the mouse to change camera angle or view, it was hard to navigate in smaller or enclosed areas, such as caves, dungeons or even shops within the towns.

Communication
The main problem most MMORPG have is that they design their communication systems poorly, making it too complicated or adding too many features that just aren't needed at all. Thankfully this game, for the most part, has it together. My only pem was I found myself typing when I was trying to move around the maps. Other than that, everything is organized and easy to understand. Thought bubbles for communication between NPCs and PCs, and a chat log for PCs to communicate with other PCs was the route taken in this game.

Aside from your basic text your character can express emotion bubbles depending on the situations they're in. Incredibly comical most of the time, you'll be seeing things from sweat bubbles with snide remarks, confused swirling marks when your character doesn't understand what's going on.

Graphics
The everpopular Anime graphics are implemented yet again in this game – And it's done quite well! The environment is lush and the characters are smooth. Best of all, lag is minimal, even with multiple objects or people on screen. Even if you're having lag, the game has the option to turn off PC models.

Music
DOMO unfortunately, doesn't thrive in the music department. What few music tracks it have are incbly annoying at times. I muted my sound after about thirty minutes, mainly because none of the music is constantly playing. It would catch me enjoying the silence, surprise me, and make me want to rip my hair out

Extra Game Features
Pets! In DOMO, players are given the chance to raise their own pets from an egg. From the Pet Menu you can set it to give your pet, 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% of the exp you would otherwise obtain, be it solo or in a party. Right clicking your pet will give you one of six options, Attack, Alert, Follow, Special Skill, Stay, and Recycle. To find out what these commands do, and the different possibilities with a pet, yl have to play for yourself!

Seeing as the possibilities foret are almost endless, it's hard to find two pets that are the same. Since pets are a fundamental part of the game, you'll find yourself leveling and having fun with your pet often.

Pros
- Good storyline
- Good graphics
- Good communication interface
- Original, easy to use menus and hot keys
- In-depth character customization
- In-depth pet raising system

Cons
- Game doesn't revolve around the main storyline very well
- Annoying camera
- Annoying music
- Mediocre combat system

Personal recommendationIn DOMO's cathe good outweighs the bad, easily. If you aren't playing another MMO right now and are looking for one, try this out.

so bail ou

Marvellous Entertainment's No More Heroes is seemingly gunning for a more, ahem, 'adult' audience with its PlayStation Move re-release this rmty with an increase in sexual content. No More Heroes: Red Zone, which is set to be released in Japan later this month, introduces 'Viewer Mode', which allows players to get up-close-and-personal with the game's cast of busty heroines and dress them up in very little. It goes without saying that the video and screenshots on this page are a little bit NSFW, so bail out now if you're within viewing distance of the boss or office grasses. For those that want to know about the game (and not just the breasts), Red Zone is the Move-enabled PS3 version of No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise - featuring additional content such as new bosses and bonus missions. [UPDATE: There seems to be some confusion in the comments surrounding exactly what Red Zone is, but Konami's moved in to clarify: "The original NMH was released in Japan without Move support a while ago, and Red Zone merely integrates the Move functionality of the PAL game for Japanese users."] CVG Staff

Final Fantasy XIII-2 'doesn't recycle cut

It's been said that enough locations were cut from Final Fantasy XIII to make an entire new game, but according to developer Square Enix it won't be reusing any axed content in upcoming sequel FFXIII-2. Speaking to Xbox World 360 magazine, Final Fantasy XIII-2 director Yohinori Kitase was asked about the supposed cuts, to which he said he feels the amount of content removed from the original FFXIII has been misinterpreted."I think those comments have been really nadly misinterpreted. The fact is that when making any game you need to come urmtph lots of different ideas and designs that you weigh up against each other before picking the best one. Obviously in that process a lot of ideas and designs have to be discarded," he explained. He went on to assure fans that the development team has stayed away from this unused material when working on the sequel."We have never knowingly picked up these kind of ideas and recycled them. That's not what we do. It's natural for anyone making games to throw away ideas but the scenario of FFXIII-2 is completely newly written and has no connection to anything we didn't use for FFXIII", he added.Square Enix has announced Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be released in January next year.Order Xbox World 360 magazine here and have it delivered straight to your door

D&D Stormreach Review

Porting a well-known and loved tabletop role-playing game like Dungeons & Dragons into an MMO is no mean feat. Turbine, the company that brought you games like LOTR Online anrmtderon鈥檚 Call in fact attempted to bring the whole D&D experience to the MMO scene. That is why we have Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stromreach, with its 8th module update recently released. MMO players finally get to taste what it feels like to be part of the whole D&D universe.

Character Creation
First up, character creation. Players get to choose what fighting style their DDO character will use, they can choose to be a melee, spell or specialistrmt. character鈥檚 job class is highly dependent on the style they choose. If players go with the melee, their options fall to being a fighter, barbarian, paladin or the recently included monk class, while players who go for the spells will be a sorcerer, cleric or wizard. Meanwhile players who go for the specialist are given the option to be a ranger, rouge or bard.

After the character鈥檚 job class players are provided with the choicetheir character build or in DDO鈥檚 case 鈥減aths鈥. There are three suggested builds per character, thus giving players an idea of what build their character should take. There is a fourth 鈥渃ustomize鈥 option where the more independent minded players could allocate stat points to make their own 鈥減ath鈥 for their character.

Players then decide what race their character would be from. There are five races available to choose from, namely: Humans, the Elves, the Halflings, the Dwarves and the Warforged. There is a sixth race, the drow elf, but there is a fame requirement that players need to obtain before having access to it.

If that鈥檚 not enough, players can also customize their character鈥檚 appearance. Players are given the usual freedom to decide the color of the hair and skin of their character, which is extended to also being able to choose how the eyes , nand mouth look. Players can also include facial hair and facial markings if they are looking for the more weathered look.

DDO gives a whole new meaning to the term 鈥渃haracter customization鈥. Players are given great freedom when it comes to their character; each style has its own class and each class has its own paths to choose from, while the character race determines their character鈥檚 effectivenes a solo dungeon runner or a party member.

The immense choices for the character may overwhelm new players. Those are trying this game out the first time may find themselves spending a great deal of time on creating their characters. This may either be good or bad depending on the preference of the player.

Storyline
Because of the long history of Dungeons & Dragons, being the first fantasy tabletome with an extensive fantasy world, I expected that this MMO should be in fact story driven. Thankfully Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach doesn鈥檛 fail in aspect.

After creating your character, you would be transported into the D&D world as a shipwrecked stranger. You were on your way to Stormreach when a white dragon attacked your ship and left you for dead at the shores of Korthos village. From there you meet people who ask for your help in exchange information on how the game is played.

The shipwreck arc is the new addition included in the Module 8 update of DDO. Players eventually need to slay the ice breathing dragon that is terrorizing the whole village of Korthos before you can finally to Stormreach. The storyline angle before the arrival to Stormreach is a nice way of tying-in the add-on change that was included just recently to the game. It neither destroyed the whole concept of DDO nor did it include too much info so that new players can still grasp their overall idea of the game.

DDO has well thought-of quest system; every quest you do is part of the whole story telling experience of the game. The quesn the game translate well to the whole story the player is trying to make in DDO.

The audio narration that is often heard while you are in a dungeon, is one of the elements that makes DDO such a great story telling experience. Not only does it ga player tips, it adds to the whole 鈥測ou-are-part-of-this-story鈥 feel that other MMOs fail to do.

Graphics and Sounds
DDO鈥檚 graphics and sounds are on par with other Pay-to-play MMOs, the weather effects add to thD feel of the game, giving the sense that you are in fact in Korthos or wherever you are in-game.

The hics and sounds really help you immerse yourself into the world of D&D, making sure that you are in fact part of the whole community itself. There are instances where you can actually see people just lounging around or helping others out. Turbine has made sure that the NPCs are not static and that they actually do something rather than just stand like dolls.

Gameplay
Of course we must not forget that in any MMO the most important thing is not just the store, graphics and sounds but also the whole gameplay itself. Though the game does make a player immerse itself into the game, DDO has a few gameplay flaws.

One example is awkward in-game controls, because as MMO players are used to just point-and-clicking, in DDO you can only use the keyboard for character movement while your mouse handles the interaction with the NPC and the like.

This could be unnerving to some. The controls get in the way sometimes, for example when you are fighting monsters. You may find yourself at times wasting more time in trying etermine on how to control your character to kill the monster rather than killing the monster itself. This could be very irritating when you鈥檙e soloing and your quest is a multi-level one.

Another thing is the camera angles. Sometimes the scenery would obstruct your line of sight even if you already fixed the anof your view. This can be very irritating when you are in a middle of a fight and you need to make your character face your enemy before you can attack it. This can be quite frustrating, especially when you are in a very tight spot and taking down monsters spells either death or survival for your character.

Conclusion
With this said, I must conclude that DDO is not just for any casual MMO player out there. The first point is that e are too many choices during character creation. I think it鈥檚 great that it gives the player more freedom to choose their character preference but there are some who would rather get the default character type and spend more time getting to know the game.

Also, thee flow of the quest can be bothersome to those who are not used to quests like these. Some may be even overwhelmed on the vast amount of quests that are available for them.

The game controls are also hard to get used to, players would need to be patient and take their time adjusting to the controls. DDO is not just ytypical MMO, it actually feels more like an RPG. The RPG-ish feel of DDO is of course expected, this is in fact Dungeons & Dragons, a table-top RPG. DDO is unlike other MMOs where you fall in love with it the first time. You would actually need to spend time before it grows on you. The question is, is the player willing to do it?

Pros:
* Immense choices in character creation
* Engaging story and narration

Cons:
* Awkward game controls
* Camera views can be irritating
* Players would need to spend time to actually have fun in game

Cabal Online Review Too Much Action

Perhaps one of Cabal Online's most commendable features is the Combo System. The Combo Sysrmttllows players to link their spells by timing their execution with the time bar on the top portion of your screen, allowing them to gain extra damage and bone crunching numbers as they continue to grind their way to higher levels. This is definitely a nice way of presenting the grind factor, as it is both challenging and enjoyable when trying to land a perfect combo.。

The bad:
- Super Grindfest
- Limited armor sets and customization
- Annoying music
- Small maps.。

Grind grind grind

When it comes to grinding, I can say that Cabal Online should be at the very top of the list. Aside from the usual grind for leveling, the game also makes you grind twice as much to earn skill points (currency for purchasing new skills). Players can earn skill points by spamming their skills throughout the game, constantly performing tons of combos to at least remove the rmtlrity of things. The stylish skills do compensate for the repetitive gameplay, but do know that the fun brought about by amazing light effects will lose its spark as you continue to execute it throughout the game.。

Cabal Online Review: Too much action
By Kei Beneza (dividelife), OnRPG Journalist。

 。

 。

The Warrior: much ts generic name suggests, the Warrior is a hardcore melee character that uses brute force and crushing damage with his overgrown two-handed weapons. The Warrior can also be a promising tank as he has tons of HP to go around.。

 。

 。

 。

The Force Archer: I'm not really sure why they had to put the Force part, but Force archers are much similar to your generic MMO Archer. They attack from a distanced effects to their arrows, and are quite deadly when ignored. They also have a decent amount of HP, allowing them to survive close encounters that are fatal to mages.。

 。

The Force Shielder: The Force Shielder serves as the main tank in the game. They don't necessarily provide the highest damage output, but greatly make up for it thr their epic and immovable stature. They also have an array of magic that compliments their 'tank and spank' playstyle, allowing them to best anyone in cross counters.。

As far as character customization is concerned, Cabal Online lacks a lot options when it comes to customizing your character'sappearance. As far as I reer, I saw six clones upon logging in for the first time and a whole army of doppelgangers later on. The game also has a small line up of armor sets, which brings a feeling of uniformity among players. Some of the armor sets also look similar to one other with only the color (and some microscopic details) as its basis of inferiority or superiority (lame).。

 。

What I really hate about Cabal is its limited and dull way of exploration. The maps in the game are small, makit quite hard to avoid high-level monsters when dealing with lowbie ones. It's also quite easy to lure unwanted monsters, as there's not enough space to separate you and your target from the rest of the spawning critters. It's indeed troublesome, and can work to your disadvantage when unprepared. A few spaces between monsters would be nice, especially when you have tons of players logging in. As far as the map is concerned, I hate it.。

 。

 。

If you were to ask me, Cabal Online's graphigine isn't exactly the best one out there; however, they did manage to make the most out of everything, providing players with a well lit world filled with magical effects and lightning fast combat. I guess it's a good example of the saying "It's all about how you use your tools" lol. Cabal's visuals are breathtaking, which compliments their combat system further. Like I said, style serves as an important medium in MMORPGs, and Cabal Online fails to disappoint.。

 。

 。

The Blader: Like Rogues, Bladers are duallding warriors who can also deliver a decent amount of damage through small but lightning fast styles while evading and effectively defending against the enemy.。

 。

 。

 。

Cabal Online isn't really so bad. It still does have the right to call itself the Revolution of Action, but that's a bit too much ACTION for an MMO don't you think? It's really fun at first (around level 1-50), until you realize that you've been doing the same thing over and over again. I guess the big problem with this game is its repetitiveness; however, I can say that this game is still worth playing.。

Cute Pet in Cabal

Cabal Online is a fast paced, combat oriented 3D MMORPG developed by ESTsoft, a company in South Korea. Just as all of its trailers suggests, Cabal Online sports a superior combat system that gives players an action-packed Dragon Ball-ish fight never to be seen in other MMOs. You could say that they were right when they sthis was The Revolution of Action. With big monsters, a whole lot of light effects in each skill, excellent PVP, and more moves, this game is a benchmark for combat systems. Cabal Online is a grindfest (just to clear it up), and the only thing you will probably do is KILL KILL KILL. Not that I mind the whole grinding thing as we're probably used to it by now, especially since Cabal presents this outdated leveling feature with such style.。

The Good:
- Tons of skills
- Total NONSTOP action
- Great presentation of combat.。

The Wizard: Wizards in Cabal are no different from their other MMO counterparts. They still have low HP (in fact, it's the lowest in the game), a whole array of spells, and an awesdamage output, making them quite dangerous when engaged from a distance.。

The game has 6 classes all in all, each with their own unique playstyle.。

Create a character

 。

Despite the awesome visuals and stunning light effects, Cabal's music and soundeffects are really poor. First of all, the background music is completely annoying as it loops continuously throughout your journey. Each map has its own BG music, which is pretty catchy when you first hear it--- until you realize that it was the sameng you've been hearing since level 1. The sound effects are dull and fail in presenting the full impact and crunchiness of the visual hit. Since Cabal Online IS the Revolution of Action, you'd probably expect the sound effects to be a bit more brutal; however, they give usTUKs and TAKs instead of BOOMs and BAMs.

Combo moves in Cabal

The Force Blader: Force Bladers are technically just bladers who know a bit of hocus-pocus. They may not be as fast as regular Bladers, and have spells as deadly as that of Mages, but being a hybrid oth makes still makes him deadly on the battlefield.
